Kolaiah Fuzzy Jardine 2015 Re-cap
We asked Waterman Team member Kolaiah Fuzzy Jardine for a 2015 Recap, here’s what he had to say:
So this season kind of started slow because of dealing with my Grand father passing away. So any time someone close to me passes I take some time off to spend time with my love ones. even though I had a rough start in season 2015 I did get invited to compete in the Da Hui backdoor Shootout in the stand-up event at Pipeline which is an honor because stand up surfing is not allowed there and also the first ever sup contest at pipeline.

This has been the only contest that I’ve entered this year. It really gave me some time to get ready to be a new father to my baby girl, Kiarah Lepeka Keakaula Jardine. She has been keeping me occupied. I can’t wait to teach her all about the ocean and the lifestyle.
Just recently, I was invited for the second year to the Nelscott Reff Big Wave SUP Surfing contest. This indeed, was an awesome event because its the only big wave contest that is like the Eddie Aikau held in Hawaii at Waimea Bay. I was so honored that I was invited to this event.
I also went to Costa Rica in August with Team Bomber Eyewear and had so much fun Sup surfing, taking it easy and gearing my mind for 2016. My goal for 2016, is to cross the Molokai channel again. I am looking to do it with a team so that I don’t have to struggle with the long ass journey by myself. I will also be competing in a local SUP Surf contests to be out there in the community representing my supporters.
If I have time in my schedule, I will see if I can do a couple contests in California and maybe even do the event in Sayulita, Mexico. I will for sure do an event that I can bring home a gold medal or make podium to show that it can be done…..
